FilterTest

The FilterTest sample program demonstrates how to use the Filter Java API.

Before you can compile the sample code, you must replace the placeholder YOUR_KEYVIEW_LICENSE, in the getLicense() method, with your license key.

A compiled executable is provided in the PLATFORM/test folder. To use the sample program you must first copy it to the bin folder or set the environment variable KVFILTER_BIN to the path of the bin folder. The compiled program has an embedded trial license, which expires a few months after release. If you set the environment variable KV_SAMPLE_PROGRAM_LICENSE_FROM_FILEPATH to a file path, the sample programs read your license from the specified file. This allows you to use the programs after the embedded trial license has expired, and to test or troubleshoot with your own license.

For help using this program, run the program with no arguments. The program prints a help message describing the arguments that you must set.
